Actress and singer Ester Noronha is all set to release her debut directorial The Vacant House on November 10 in theatres across Karnataka and Goa. The movie will be released in two languages, Kannada and Konkani. Apart from direction, the actress will be also playing the lead role in the movie along with giving the music.
Ester Noronha is producing this film under her banner Janet Noronha Productions. The movie is touted to be a suspense thriller as the makers released the teaser of the movie earlier this month. The makers have already released a few songs from the movie which have already gone viral.
The teaser recounted the scenes of a house which seems to be vacant. The suspense thriller movie revolves around the character of Ester Noronha. The cinematography of the movie was handled by Narender Goud while the editing of the movie was executed by Vijay Raj. Take a look at the teaser.
Ester Noronha is known for her work in Telugu, Kannada and Konkani films. Apart from this, she has also received several accolades due to her performance in the Telugu movies. She debuted in Konkani films as a child artist. The actress was introduced into Telugu cinema with the movie 1000 Abaddalu which was directed by Teja and starred Ester Noronha and Sairam Shankar in lead roles. It was released in 2013. She later gained fame through her Telugu movie Bhimavaram Bullodu and Konkani movie Sophiya.
Now, the actress is gearing up for her directorial debut. With this, the actress will now helm the responsibilities of a director after tasting success in films as an actress. It is said that The Vacant House is a dream project of the actress and hence she wrote the screenplay and dialogues of the movie herself.
This is not the first movie of Janet Noronha Productions. Previously, they produced the Konkani movie Sophiya. Ester Noronha also won the Best Actress award for her role in this movie. She has worked in more than 35 films in around 7 languages which include Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and others. The actress was last seen in the Telugu movie Changure Bangaru Raja which was directed by Satish Varma and produced by Ravi Teja.
