Maruti Suzuki India Limited is all set to unveil its all-new compact car design language in the form of ‘ConceptFutureS’ at Delhi Auto Expo 2018. ’ConceptFutureS’ is a compact car that company claims to have a bold presence with distinct SUV like character which is aimed to delight customers in the compact car space.
Maruti Suzuki targets to re-define compact car design language with new ‘ConceptFutureS’. A few design cues from the sketch reveal an upright stance, commanding higher seating and ground clearance, horizontal hood giving it a unique aggressive stance and posture.
The urban SUV image is put together by the bold and upright front, with a Unique A-pillar treatment, that playfully connects to the accent on the side sill.
Explaining ‘ConceptFutureS’ CV Raman, Senior Executive Director (Engineering), Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “The increasing preference for UVs and their bold architecture inspired our design team to study a new character for compact cars. ConceptFutureS could mark a distinctive shift in how compact cars are shaped and designed in India in the future."
Maruti Suzuki design team feels that ConceptFutureS epitomizes the next level of design evolution in terms of design proportions, body sculpting and stimulating fusion of bold patterns and superior accent colors.
The global premiere of ‘ConceptFutureS’ will take place at Delhi Auto Expo in early February. More details will be available in the run-up to the Expo. Watch this space for more updates.
